C MARC has undertaken various large-scale research projects for partners including the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office; the Japan Tourism and Transportation Institute; the Australia-ASEAN Council, Council on Foreign Relations, and the Japan Foundation.
The Maritime GENIE innovation incubator is an ongoing initiative developed and managed by C MARC. In collaboration with the Taiwan Ocean Affairs Council, we are currently guiding the third cohort through this rigorous program for established maritime leaders. Earlier cohorts were sponsored by the Australia-ASEAN Centre and East-West Center.
We have provided tailored advisory services, including written and oral briefings for clients ranging from small and medium enterprises to industry leaders—such as major international banks, 'Big Four' accounting firms, top-three shipping companies, marine insurers, and global risk consultancies.
C MARC convenes of the Indo-Pacific Maritime Hour, a regular web-based forum for dialogue among regional maritime stakeholders.
Our experts maintain a strong global media presence, regularly contributing to international broadcasters such as BBC, Al Jazeera, CNA, and Bloomberg, as well as leading publications including Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, Le Monde, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Straits Times, South China Morning Post, and the Japan Times.
We operate MarSecNet, the Indo-Pacific’s leading maritime security email listserv, which has provided a durable platform for information exchange since 2003.
